CULTURAL FACILITIES
One of the special features of the Stylarius project, is that it will contain a multifunctional workshop. This multifunctional workshop will organise a wide range of different artistic activities, where Turkish and foreign artists or teachers will be able to demonstrate and teach various techniques and handicrafts. Photography, painting and drawing, sculpting, ceramics, basket making etc. are just some of the planned activities. Traditional olive oil extraction and making olive oil soap are other possibilities.
The workshop will also be used to teach old regional handicrafts and handwork techniques which are fast disappearing and attempt to reinvigorate them. A shop will sell typical regional products and handicrafts thereby supporting the efforts of the villagers to maintain their traditions and culture. Communication features While the Stylarius project will offer a very old and traditional life style to its guests, it will also give those, who cannot or do not wish to be cut off from modern life or their business activities, the possibility to "stay connected". A modern communications office will be installed and equipped with all necessary technology, including internet connection, telephone, and fax. The meeting room will be equipped with data projectors, translation facilities etc.
