HUMAN RESOURCES

The Stylarius project wants to approach the human resources issue from two angles. The project owners consider that the concept in which the project will be implemented and run is a major factor of the success of the project. The same goes for the activities which will give more ‘body and soul’ to the project.

One of the project owners is a medical doctor. The other partner is of Belgian origin, having studied Turkish literature and speaking 5 languages (Dutch, French, English, Turkish and German). Both are trekking guides and have intimate knowledge of the Karaburun Peninsula

The other personnel needs (administrative, health care, technical and maintenance staff) will be met as much as possible from local resources. The staff will be trained in the issues of ecology, tourism, foreign language and public relations. The project will call in professional assistance for training purposes.

The project will engage 12-15 persons in addition to the two project owners for phase 1. This represents a substantial employment potential for the region. Stylarius will seek to acquire food supplies from the village of Bozköy and the surrounding areas insofar as it is practically possible.
