ACCOMODATION INFRASTRUCTURES

 

The accommodation of the Stylarius project is planned for 100-120 beds. Half of these will be contained in buildings on the edge of the village, where stage 1 of the project will be erected. The other half will be organised in stage 2, (the old stone houses) which will be renovated or reconstructed in the village center. 

 

 

 

The accommodation of stage 1 will comprise 20-22 rooms each providing facilities for 2 people. These buildings will contain all regional traditional architectural features. They will be built of natural stone and finished with natural materials available near the village. The plot, where these buildings are planned, measures about  6000 m² .

Stage 2 will comprise the old stone houses located within the village which, according to their condition, will be either renovated or reconstructed.  All rooms will measure approx. 25 m²’ and have a bathroom and small kitchenette. Some of the houses will be planned to receive small groups or families. 

 

 

Each room will be furnished and decorated in a different way, but always with a special eye for local cultural traditions. The rooms will have either French beds, double beds, or single beds as well as a sitting corner.

 

 

The houses will be constructed with natural stone, thus guaranteeing warmth on winter days and cool on hot summer days. All units will have a small kitchenette. All heating and cooling methods will be 100% ecological and made using renewable energy devices. The rooms will be heated or cooled through the floor, wall or ceiling. Waste water will also be treated ecologically. 

Selected rooms will have wheel-chair access.
